Usage
Read the leaflet provided with this medicine carefully. Consult your pharmacist or doctor if you are unable to understand any information.
Take Acetaminophen/Guaifenesin by mouth with or without meals.
Dissolve the contents of 1 packet in water or other liquid and drink whole of it.
After drinking it put a small amount of water in the same glass, rinse and drink it again. This ensures that you have taken the right dose.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
Do NOT use this medicine if:
You are allergic to any ingredient in Acetaminophen/Guaifenesin Powder packets.
Contact your doctor immediately if any of these apply to you.

Important safety information
Before starting any new medicine, check if it has Acetaminophen and Guaifenesin in it too. Discuss with doctor if it does or if you are not sure.
Acetaminophen can be harmful to liver and risk increases if you drink alcohol while using Acetaminophen. Discuss with doctor before you take Acetaminophen if you drink more than 3 drinks of alcohol per day.
Do Not exceed recommended dose.
Contact doctor immediately if condition gets worse or lasts more than 5-7 days.
Some of these products may contain phenylalanine. You should take diet that is low in phenylalanine, Discuss with doctor or pharmacist in this regard.
Discuss with your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking Acetaminophen/Guaifenesin and need to check your blood cholesterol at home, as Acetaminophen/Guaifenesin may alter the results of some in-home test kits for blood cholesterol.
If you have cough that lasts for more than 1 week or comes back, or if you also have a fever, rash, or persistent headache, contact your doctor.
Different brands of Acetaminophen/Guaifenesin may have different dosing instructions for CHILDREN. Follow the dosing instructions on the package labeling properly.
Do not use Acetaminophen/Guaifenesin in CHILDREN younger than 12 years old without proper medical guidance as safety and effectiveness in this age group is yet to be confirmed.
PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: Discuss the benefits and risks of using Acetaminophen/Guaifenesin while you are pregnant. Acetaminophen/Guaifenesin is found in breast milk. Discuss with doctor before breast-feeding while taking Acetaminophen/Guaifenesin.
Some MEDICINES MAY INTERACT with Acetaminophen/Aspirin. The following drugs have a potential to alter the effects of Acetaminophen/Aspirin:
Anticoagulants (such as warfarin) may interact with Acetaminophen/Guaifenesin because the risk of their side effects, including bleeding, may be increased.

Isoniazid may interact with Acetaminophen/Guaifenesin the risk of liver problems may be increased.
