Usage
Use Kaolin/Pectin as directed by your physician. Read the leaflet provided with this medicine carefully. Consult your pharmacist or doctor if you are unable to understand any information.
Shake well before use.
Do not take other medicines within 2 hours of taking Kaolin/Pectin.
It is recommended to take extra fluids during diarrhea.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

If condition gets worse or does not get better within 48 hours, consult your doctor.
ELDERLY are more sensitive to effects of Kaolin/Pectin. Kaolin/Pectin should be used with caution in these patients.
Kaolin/Pectin should be used with extreme caution in CHILDREN under 4 years of age, as Safety and effectiveness have not been confirmed.
PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: If you become pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Kaolin/Pectin while you are pregnant. It is not known if Kaolin/Pectin is found in breast milk. Do not breast-feeding while you use Kaolin/Pectin, check with your doctor. Discuss any possible risks to your baby. This document does not contain all possible interactions. Therefore, before using Kaolin/Pectin, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all the products you use. Keep a list of all your medications with you, and share the list with your doctor and pharmacist
